Why Bayis Sheli?

When children with special needs and disability develop and grow, each milestone is celebrated joyously. Reaching their eighteenth birthday is major. Along with a birthday party and fancy cakes comes the legitimate fear.
Who will continue supporting my child whilst he transitions into adulthood?

Few have risen to the challenge to support special needs children as they transcend into adulthood and are no longer eligible to childrens services. Bayis Sheli is an organisation with a difference. We are committed to care for our residents. Age should never be a distinguishing factor.

It may mean that we are challenged with their more complex needs as their physical and mental health faces new limitations. It may mean expanding our services by offering xxx. At Bayis Sheli we weather it with a smile because caring for the disabled is our commitment.

“At age 18, when many prepare themselves to leave their home, children with special needs found that they had no home.”
